Where it all Began

- A Brief Intro Into the History of Madeira Beach

Offically seperating from Port Richey in 1915 becoming it's own town, New Port Ricchey offically was incporporated in 1924. Since then, the town has continued it's Chaso events, dating back to it's very first event in 1922. in 1947, the event was fully revived when it was handed to the city by the Chasco Club.

The vibrant event seems to blend perfectly with the town's vibrant & historic downtown along the Pithlachascotee River which features boutiques, restaurants and the Richey Suncoast Theatre.
